Two roles, one well-organized fleet
Not everyone needs access to the same settings or the same information. Flotalyo separates two distinct roles, and lets you group users by job profile to fine-tune the organization even further.
Manager: setup and oversight
Adds vehicles and users, configures automatic booking rules and job profiles, views full statistics, and exports data -- the complete overview of the whole company.
User: booking without the complexity
Books a vehicle, checks their own bookings and a lightweight fleet schedule, fills in their return forms -- without ever seeing settings or other users' data they don't need to know.
Job profiles: organize your teams
Group users by function (sales, technician, management...) to automatically restrict which vehicle categories they're offered, or target a booking rule at a single profile instead of everyone.
Full isolation between companies
Every client company is isolated from every other at the database level itself, not just in the interface: none can ever access another's vehicles, bookings, or users, regardless of role.
Frequently asked questions
Is a job profile required for every user?+
No. A user with no job profile assigned simply has no profile-based vehicle category restriction, and rules targeting a specific profile don't apply to them.
Can a manager also book a vehicle like a user?+
Yes, the manager role includes every capability a user has, in addition to access to configuration and full statistics.
Can a company have more than one manager?+
Yes, there's no limit on the number of managers -- useful as soon as several people need to be able to configure or oversee the fleet.
